Octi-Dry® Ind. Inc. was founded by the Bass Family in 2004. Lenny Bass owner and designer of the Octi-dry wall drying system, has been in the disaster restoration industry since 1978. During the 1980's & 90's The Bass family owned and operated several cleaning and restoration companies in Florida.

After Hurricane Andrew in 1992 Lenny decided there has to be a better way to address wet walls and structures with out complete tear out and replacement. After many prototypes and months of field testing the Octi-Dry® system was born. In 1994 Lenny
Bass was awarded a patent on the Octi-Dry® System.

In 2000 The Bass Family quit handling carpet cleaning and fire restoration, to focus their company on the water damage industry and drying product development.
